Introduction
FIXR's pixel integrations allow event organisers to track website visitor behaviour, measure conversions, and optimise their marketing campaigns.
By adding tracking pixels to your FIXR ticket pages, you gain valuable insights into which ads, platforms, and audiences drive the most ticket sales.
This guide will walk you through setting up and maximising pixel tracking to improve your event marketing efforts.
What is a pixel?
A marketing pixel, also known as a tracking pixel, is a small piece of code or an invisible 1x1 image placed on a website to gather data about user activity and interactions.
When you run ads on Instagram, Facebook, Snapchat or TikTok, this helps you and the ad platform understand what people are doing after they’ve clicked on the ad (e.g. when they look at events or buy tickets).
Why use pixel integrations?
Track conversions: Measure how many ticket sales come from specific marketing campaigns.
Optimise ad performance: Use pixel data to retarget interested customers and refine ad audiences.
Enhance reporting: Understand which platforms and strategies deliver the best ROI.

Best practices for pixel tracking
Optimise campaign performance
Use Facebook’s Conversions API with your Meta pixel to improve tracking accuracy, even with ad blockers or cookie restrictions.
Track key events
Use Standard Events (e.g., View Content, Add to Cart, Purchase) to track the full customer journey.
Set up Custom Events for deeper insights (e.g. time spent on page, button clicks).
By using FIXR's pixel integrations effectively, you'll gain useful insights into your marketing performance, allowing you to optimise campaigns and ultimately sell more tickets.
