Pass validity, date ranges, credit and general terms

Pass validity (Required)

When creating a pass, organisers can control how long it is valid using one of three options:

1. Date range

Choose how long the pass is valid:

  • Date Range – Set specific start and end times.

  • Duration – Set a period (e.g. 30 days) from purchase.

  • Unlimited – Set a start date only; the pass never expires.

Time zone is selected for Date Range and Unlimited options.

2. Total Credits (Required)

Decide how many credits each pass includes. Credits are used to redeem discounted or free tickets.

You now have two options:

  1. Limited – Restrict how many credits a passholder can spend

    1. → Enter a number in the Number of credits field

  2. Unlimited – Let passholders redeem as many eligible tickets as they like

You’ll assign credit values to ticket types in the Tickets step. Passholders spend credits like currency when redeeming tickets.

3. Terms and conditions (Required)

Add custom terms under the Terms tab to explain how the pass can be used. These help set buyer expectations and clarify usage rules.

Supports rich text formatting:

- Bold, --strikethrough--, italic

- Bulleted or numbered lists

- Hyperlinks

- Emojis

Where buyers see the terms and conditions:

  • On the pass details page (before purchase)

  • In the confirmation email

  • When viewing the pass in the FIXR app or website

Example terms you might include:

  • Passes are non-refundable once any credit is redeemed.

  • Each pass is valid for one person only and is non-transferable.

  • Redemption depends on ticket availability.

  • Credits must be used before expiry.

  • Terms may be updated at any time — the latest version will always be visible on your pass.
