Can I change/upgrade a customer's ticket?

Whether you’re upgrading an attendee’s ticket, or moving their booking to another event, FIXR gives you flexible options to manage changes.



Different event, same ticket price

  1. In Sales & Transactions, locate the order and click Void (this cancels the ticket without a refund).

  2. In the new event, select the ticket and choose Gift ticket.

  3. Enter the attendee’s name and email address, and they’ll receive their replacement ticket for the new event.

Ticket upgrade (or different ticket price)

  1. In Sales & Transactions, locate the order and click Void (this cancels the ticket without a refund).

  2. Generate a Checkout Link for the new ticket, using the edit price box to adjust the price (so that the customer is only paying the difference in price or cost of the upgrade, not the full amount).

  3. Send the link to the attendee to complete their updated order.

Both of these options ensure your guests always have the right ticket, at the right price, while you maintain full control over how orders are managed.
