Creating an event and selling tickets is easy with FIXR.
1) Create a user account with your name and email address
2) Create an event organiser account using the name of your event brand/business
Log in to the FIXR Organiser and you will see your dashboard. Click 'Create Event'.
1. Type your event name, choose a category (e.g. club night, festival), select your currency and add an event description to tell potential ticket buyers about your event.
2. Add an event image. Your event image should be landscape (16:9 ratio).
3. Add the event location. If the venue is already listed on FIXR, start typing it in and it will appear in a drop-down list. If the venue is not already on FIXR, you can add the location details. If your event is online, select 'online'.
4. Add the event date, start time and end time. It's important to add a time for last entry. These are all required fields.
5. Under 'Advanced Settings' you can add entry requirements, turn ticket transfers on or off, make the event private and choose to allow refunds.
6. If you tick 'allow ticket transfers' ticket buyers will be able to transfer their ticket to a friend if they are no longer able to attend. As the event organiser, you get information about both the original ticket buyer and the new ticket holder. This prevents unauthorised reselling on resale platforms and reduces the number of refund requests. Set a ticket transfer deadline that is before the event start date.
7. If you tick the box next to 'event is private' the event will only be visible to people with the link. Private events are not discoverable to the public on the FIXR website or app. If you leave this box unticked, your event will be public.
8. If you tick 'separate bookings', separate QR codes will be generated for multiple tickets of the same ticket type. If you know your event venue uses different ticket scanners to FIXR, tick this box.
9. If you tick 'I would like FIXR to issue refunds on my behalf' FIXR will refund ticket buyers who request a refund. Refunds will only be issued before the event date. If you do not tick this box, FIXR will not issue refunds and will direct any ticket buyer enquiries abut refunds to you.
10. Make your event live to start selling tickets.
