How do I create an event?

Creating an event and selling tickets on FIXR is simple. Once you’ve set up your accounts, you can publish an event and begin selling in just a few steps:

  1. Create your accounts

  2. Log in to the FIXR Organiser and click New Event.

  3. Add event details

    • Enter your event name, category (e.g. festival), currency, and description

    • Upload a landscape event image (16:9 ratio recommended)

    • Add the location. If the venue is already on FIXR, select it from the dropdown. If not, enter the details manually.

    • Set the event date, start time, and end time.

  4. Configure advanced settings

    Under Advanced Settings, you can tailor your event further:

    • Entry requirements – Include any important information for attendees, such as last entry time, age restrictions, or dress code.

    • Ticket transfers – allow buyers to transfer tickets to a friend before a set deadline. This reduces refund requests and prevents unauthorised resales, while giving you more information and data about every attendee.

    • Private events – make the event accessible only via a private link (not publicly discoverable on the FIXR website or app)

    • Separate bookings – generate separate QR codes for multiple tickets of the same type (useful if third-party scanners are in use at the venue)

    • Refunds – choose whether FIXR manages refund requests on your behalf, or whether enquiries are directed to you

5. Publish your event

  • Once everything is set up, click 'Create event' to make your event live.
